It was a matter of pride and a mark of multiculturalism for the Orchidians to have a celebration of the French National day in our school on 13th of July. The day dawned with a gentle breeze invigorating the early morning which brightened our moods with a speech on French Day by Tanvi of Grade VI and a Role play by ‘Amanda and Group’ of Grade VI. The play was indeed a delightful way of rendering clarity and brevity of their Third Language French. It clearly applauded that Orchidians are the best under the Sun. Young Orchidians of Grade 1 and 2 colored French flags and learnt to greet each other in French. They explored about French culture, cuisine, sports and famous monuments through a Power-Point Presentation. It was indeed fun filled learning.
