Recognizing the colors and identifying the names of the colour is an important part of a child’s development. Early identification of colors helps to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words.
Pink represents the color of friendship. K1 students celebrated Pink Day on 30th August, 2016. Students were made aware about the beauty of the colour as well as the different shades of pink colour. Kids dressed themselves in pink dresses and brought toys and objects in the shades of pink. They were shown a digi board nugget on the significance of pink colour. The teacher drew a pink colour heart symbol on their hands to make the day memorable.
