“Whether it is ten miles or one, you will never regret lacing up those running shoes and going outside.” Children were given perforated cut-outs of different shapes and were asked to lace it with a satin ribbon. This activity helped the children to recognize various shapes. Lacing Activity helps children to learn patterns into eye-hand coordination, finer motor skills and visual perceptual skills. As children grabs the tip of the ribbon, they are building their pincer grips which is crucial for writing skills, it also helped the children to be patient as they had to perform the activity sitting in one place. Every child performed the activity with great enthusiasm.
