Thumb Printing Grade K2

“Education is only a ladder to gather fruit from the tree of knowledge, not the fruit itself.” Thumb Printing was conducted at GEI’s Orchid International School on Wednesday 20th July 2016.The children were called in a group of three by the teacher and were asked to open their drawing book containing the picture of grapes. They were then asked to describe the fruit, its colour, & taste. A sponge dipped in a bowl of green colour paint was placed in the center. The children were asked to dip their thumb on the sponge and put their thumb impression on the picture of grapes. This activity helps the children in eye-hand coordination and fine motor skill development.
