Learning Centers—Grade K2

testimonials

It is a daily practice to put up the learning centers in the class, mostly depending upon the theme and concepts recently done. It is a beautiful way to bring about a transition from home to school and also a creative way to recapitulate the work done. The students are busy playing in all these centers as soon as they are in the class in the morning.
On one of the days, at Maths and Manipulative Center, the students did lacing activity on cardboard of varied shapes with holes punched. It helped to develop their fine motor skills. At the Literacy Center students were given alphabet flash cards to form three letter words. This helped enhance their cognitive skill. At the Art and Craft Center, they did finger painting onto the art sheets and created beautiful designs. It is indeed a creative method to recapitulate the work, where learning and play go hand in hand.
