The class VII B hard worked very creatively and formed their own sedimentary rocks. The activity took almost 5 days to complete because rocks needed time to get dry. For first layer in a box or tray they mixed sand and few coarsely crushed chalk pieces and leaves. Other layer of water and some clear glue was poured on it then one day was given to settle the layer. Third layer was made by mixing mud and small pebbles made from play plough and last layer was to pour water and mix the glue. The rock took 2-3 days to get dry. The sedimentary rock is ready. Have a look on beautiful rocks created by young geologists .
