How to Prepare for Mathematics:

  1. Get a complete understanding of the syllabus. Start by solving math problems from CBSE textbooks and previous year question papers. CBSE has made previous year question papers available for download on its website.
  2. Make a note of all mathematical formulas, theorems, and easy tricks.
  3. Work on getting the graphs right as it’s one of the highest-scoring parts of the mathematics exam.

SCIENCE

The science paper will consist of 27 questions which are divided into two sections: A and B.

Section A is based on subject knowledge.

How to Prepare for Science

  1. For Physics: Get a complete understanding of the syllabus. Start by reading and getting a thorough understanding of Physics knowledge. Solve previous year question papers. CBSE has made previous year question papers available for download on its website.
  2. Revise umpteen numbers of times. Make a note of all formulas and fundamentals.
  3. For Chemistry: Get a complete understanding of the syllabus. Work on chemical reactions as that’s one of the toughest parts of the science exam. Download the previous year’s questions papers. The link is given in the first point.
  4. Understand the basics of chemistry completely.
  5. Memorise the periodic table. You will get questions from the table.
  6. For Biology: Focus on diagrams, theories, and definitions. Check last year’s question paper.

SOCIAL SCIENCE

The social science question paper will consist of 35 questions for the main paper which will be divided into three sections- A, B, and C and between 1-3 questions based on map knowledge.

How to Prepare for Social Science:

  1. Get a complete understanding of the syllabus. Start with objective and short questions as they are less time-consuming. Take a look at the previous year’s question papers. CBSE has made previous year question papers available for download on its website.
  2. Write important dates, events, political figures, historical figures, places, and more in a book. Memorise them.

The key to clearing CBSE with good marks is to practice and memorise. It’s always better to take a look at previous year question papers for all subjects and languages as these will help you understand your weak points and improve on it.
