There was a Grasshopper who was lazy and never wanted to work. All summer, he looked at the hard-working ants working day and night, but all he did was waste his time singing songs and playing. He never worked. When winter came, there was nothing to eat. There was no grass nor flowers, not even a worm. He knew he would starve, so he visited the hard-working ants and asked for food. The angry ants scolded him for his laziness and asked him to go away. The grasshopper had to leave as hungry as he was before. The Grasshopper and the Ant class 2 story tells us to work hard when we have the chance to do so.

Question 1 : How did the grasshopper spend his days?

Answer : The grasshopper didn’t do any work and spent his days by singing songs and playing in the sunshine.


Question 2 : Did the grasshopper find food in winter?

Answer : No, the grasshopper could not find any food in winter.


Question 3 : What did the ant tell the grasshopper when he asked for food?

Answer : The ant was very angry to see the grasshopper asking for food. The ant scolded him for being lazy during summer and not saving food for winter. She asked the grasshopper to go away and slammed the door.
