Greeting Card Making Ideas for Class 2

Students will learn the way on how to make easy greeting cards and quickly for any given occasion.

I. What is a Greeting Card?

A greeting card is made up of paper or a thin piece of cardboard with different shapes and a message written inside of it. People exchange them on special occasions such as birthdays, festivals, anniversaries, and other such occasions. Cards such as ‘Thank you’ and ‘Get well soon’ are given to express gratitude or wish a speedy recover from an illness. Mostly, it is put in an envelope that might come in different styles.

    1. Birthday Card Messages:
    2. It is very common to prepare birthday card for friend. Birthday messages such as ‘enjoy your day’, ‘many, many, happy returns of the day’, ‘Have a fun birthday’, etc. are written on the front page of the card.

II. Nouns

Proper Noun: Proper nouns are the specific names of a people, places, or things. They are used in the form of the name of the person for whom the card is being made.

Even the cards that are made for various festivals and occasions like Christmas cards, and Mother’s Day cards have proper nouns. The names of these occasions are proper nouns.
