It is the story of a magician granting the fir tree four wishes as he was grateful for the tree’s shade. The tree utilizes the wishes and tries to change itself by wishing for green leaves, gold leaves and glass leaves. Finally, it wishes to be its old self again and uses the last wish to be itself again.
