Everything around me looked different.

Everyone around me looked different. I realised that I was not in my hometown. I could not recognise the place. I came across tiny creatures that looked like human beings but just shorter. They were about half of my height.
When they saw me, they were making some noise, probably talking within themselves as if they had come across the strangest thing in the world. I tried to speak to them, but they couldn’t understand my words. I tried speaking to them in basic signs, and they seemed to understand. I wanted to give them a bar of chocolate that I had carried with me. The dwarf took the chocolate and ate it. I could tell by his face that he liked it very much. Little did I know that dwarf was the commander of all the dwarfs, for he said something to the other dwarfs. They all left quickly and returned with fruits and offered them to me in an hour. I was grateful to them for the food and let them know.
I told them I needed wood to build a boat, and they gladly showed me the way to the forest. They also made me an axe so I could chop the wood. As time passed, I built my boat, and I decided to sail back to my home. I missed my family very much. Soon, I left and set sails to head North. It took me a while to reach my home, but I finally made it back safe and sound.
