My shadow is a poem written by Robert Louis Stevenson. The narrator in the poem describes his shadow as if it were his friend. The shadow goes out with him and follows him around. Even when he jumps in bed, his shadow jumps with him. Although the narrator in the poem notices that the shadow doesn’t grow like children do, it sometimes grows big and sometimes shrinks in size.
