II. Pronouns

1) How Are the Pronouns 'his' and ‘her’ Used To Write About Your Best Friend?

Pronouns are short words and they are used in a sentence so that the noun becomes less repetitive.

In a sentence, we use 'his' to refer to something that belongs to or is related to a man, a boy, or a male animal. We use ‘her’ in a sentence to talk about something which belongs or is related to a woman, a girl, or an animal that is female.

Example :

  1. My sister is my best friend. Her name is Neha.
  2. Ravi is my best friend. He is a very bright student and always finishes his homework on time.

2) How Is the Pronoun ‘We’ Used To Write About Your Best Friend?

We go to school together.

We also share our tiffin with each other.
