Verbs are action words. You can use it to describe the various actions of your neighbour.

Example:

The boy had come to invite us to the housewarming ceremony that was to be held the next day.
Naveen’s father works in a private firm.
My parents were very thankful to them for their prompt help.
They were very helpful in general, and they have helped many people when needed.
