NCERT Solutions for Class-1 Chapter-20: The Tailor and his Friend

In the story, Kalu is a tailor who has a shop near the river. He stitched many colourful clothes for children. Appu, an elephant, visited his shop every day, so Kalu gave him many things to eat. One day Kalu thought of playing a trick on Appu. In place of giving him food, Kalu pricked Appu’s trunk. Appu had run away as he was in pain. After two days, Appu returned to Kalu's shop with a trunk full of water and threw water all around the place. All the clothes in Kalu’s shop were drenched with water. Kalu realized his mistake and apologized. Now, they both are friends again. The NCERT textbook Marigold questions are answered in a simple and engaging manner.
