Poverty in India

Poverty is a situation where people lack necessities like food, shelter, medicine, clothes, etc.

Many people are striving to survive as they lie below the poverty line, which means they cannot provide the basic necessitates for themselves. We have to take steps to curb poverty so that many have enough food to eat, adequate shelter, and even access to education and healthcare.

One of the main reasons for poverty is the overpopulation of the country. Underdevelopment is another reason for poverty. It can only be removed through effective programs which should be implemented by the government.

The government can provide basic amenities to rural areas through primary education, population control policies, providing jobs, and many more. This issue should not just be the government’s role, but every individual in the country can try their level best to provide the best education.
