At Orchids, the Secondary Grades (V to X) represent the last stage of development, with students departing from foundational learning to more academic content-centered exploration. While building upon the objectives they mastered during the primary years, our curriculum elaborates students' understanding of subjects and helps them prepare in an academic and emotional way for future learning.
Following the CBSE framework from Grades I-VIII but topped up with international teaching strategies, our program slowly navigates students in becoming solely responsible for preparing for their Class X board exams.
Subjects such as Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) will be delivered in a fun way and with hands-on activities, allowing students to have a clearer understanding of important features/concepts of the subject matter.
As well as advancing academic content knowledge, this phase develops analytical thinking, independence, self-identity and career awareness - all important facets to ensure.success during high school years, and beyond.

The Transition period from EYP to Primary is very challenging for a child. To ease this process in pre-primary teaching we have included Grades I & II in the Early Years Program, where a child can make use of his EYP skills in Primary classes. This ensures each student in the Early Year Program instils a habit of learning the basic concepts of each subject.
As one of the best pre-primary schools in India, we believe that young minds are easily impressionable which is why we intend to make them comfortable in stepping out of their comfort zones to learn and prosper.
