The Story of Food

Answer :

Yes, my family is somewhat similar to that of Venu’s family. We also help each other by dividing most of the routine household works in my family. At dinner time, we all sit together and have our food. After finishing this work, I go out to play and my parents read their favourite books and newspapers or watch the TV.

Yes, we all eat dinner together. But father has his breakfast earlier than others as he has to leave for work.

My grandfather does not help cook food because he does not know how to cook and has never been inside a kitchen.

• If I have a cold or cough, I have milk with turmeric or a kadha of ginger, honey, and lemon.
• If I have a toothache, then grandmother gives me a cotton blob soaked in clove oil to keep it on that tooth.
