One of my favourite things to do is dance. I love how it makes me feel physically and emotionally. Plus, it’s a great way to get moving and have some fun. So when I heard that April 29th is International Dance Day, I was so excited! If you’re like me and love to dance, then make sure to go out and celebrate today, with plenty International Dance Day activities! There are likely many events happening in your area, so check online or in your local paper to see what’s going on. And if there’s nothing scheduled, grab your friends and put together your dance party! Whatever you do, make sure to have some fun and move those hips!
Check if your local theatre or ballet company is putting on a show on International Dance Day. If so, buy tickets and watch some fantastic dancers perform.
If you’re feeling adventurous, why not learn a new dance style? There are plenty of online tutorials that can teach you everything from the waltz to the salsa.

Kids love to dance, especially when their friends are there to join in the fun. So grab a few CDs of your kids’ favourite songs and get ready for some laughs (and maybe a few spills).
