MPSC full form in English stands for Maharashtra Public Service Commission, a constitutional body under Article 315 of the Indian Constitution, established to conduct the civil service examinations in Maharashtra. The main task of the commission is to recruit persons—above all procedures specified by the state government—into administration-related posts and other forms of posts and services for the State Government with capable and qualified officials, thereby ensuring that the administration is manned by competent and qualified officials.

This is to appoint candidates for the Forest Officers and Forest Rangers post responsible for the management of forest resources and safeguard woods of Maharashtra.
