Delhi NCR, September 10, 2025: Orchids The International School, an award-winning chain of educational institutions, proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of its students who showcased their innovative skills and team spirit at the ‘TechnoXian World Cup 9.0: World’s Biggest Robotics Championship’, held in Noida recently. Students from countries like Iran, Russia, Egypt, Azerbaijan and Ghana took part in the event, making it a global platform for young innovators.

More than 200 students from Orchids, comprising over 70 teams, competed in diverse categories - such as ‘Fastest Line Follower’, ‘Sumo Bots’, ‘Robo Race’, ‘Robo Soccer’, ‘RC Electric Car Racing’ and ‘Water Rocket’. The standout achievements included Team Zenbot (from Orchids Thane) clinching the gold medal in the ‘Autonomous Sumo Bot’ category, impressing with their ability to design and optimise a robot capable of outmaneuvering international challengers. Meanwhile, Team OISNGD (from Orchids Nigdi) bagged the silver medal in the ‘Fastest Line Follower - Junior’, showcasing their sharp technical and strategic skills in the competition.

Hailing the extraordinary victory of the young technocrats, Jimmy Ahuja - Head of STEM, Orchids The International School - said, “We are incredibly proud of our students’ performance at TechnoXian 9.0. Their achievements are not just winning in the robotics competition. It reflects their dedication, teamwork and strategic thinking. This academic year, we have also introduced ‘The STARK Fellowship’, a programme designed to nurture students’ passion for robotics. I believe this programme has been instrumental in providing the students with expert-led training in component knowledge, bot assembly, bot design, controls and strategy. Additionally, it helped students develop essential skills such as collaboration, problem-solving ability and creativity, preparing them to participate in international competitions with confidence and enthusiasm. We congratulate all the winners and participants on their remarkable achievements, and we believe their journey will inspire even greater innovation in the future.”

Silver medalist Soham Tanveer - a student at Orchids The International School Nigdi campus - said, “Competing at TechnoXian 9.0 was an amazing experience. We learned so much while preparing for and challenging international teams. Winning the medal has further motivated us to aim higher and keep building better robots in the future.”

Other student teams from Orchids also secured top positions across the Robo Race, RC Electric Car Racing and Robo Soccer categories, further highlighting the institution’s growing strength in robotics and innovation.
