1) How Are Exclamation Marks Used in a Greeting Card?

The exclamation mark is given at the end of a sentence or a short phrase that expresses a very strong feeling. This mark is used in messages.

Examples:

    1. Happy Birthday!
    2. Merry Christmas!
    3. Happy Mother’s Day!

Proper nouns always begin with a capital letter. Thus, whenever there is a proper noun in the form of names of people or occasions, the first letter should be capital.

Examples:

    1. Merry Christmas!
    2. Dear Rima,
    3. Happy Diwali

3) How Is a Comma Used in Making a Greeting Card?

While writing the message on a greeting card, you need to use a comma. Use a comma after the word ‘Dear’ in the salutation part of the message.

Examples:

 Dear Rima,
 Happy Birthday!
