### Pictograph in Maths

• The title of a picture graph tells us about the data.
• Observe the categories and the data related to the categories.

Here it is explained with an example.

Example :

i) How many students like red as their favorite color?

ii) How many students like blue as their favorite color?

iii) How many students like black as their favorite color?

iv) How many students like brown as their favorite color?

v) How many more students like red than black?

The number of students who like the red color is 6.

The number of students who like the blue color is 4.

The number of students who like the color black is 2.

The number of students who like the color brown is 4.

Also, it can be found from the picture graph, that how many students like red more than black.
