Answer the following questions.

  1. T20 match = 20 overs.
    1 over = 6 ball
    Number of balls of T20 match = 20 × 6 = 120 balls
  2. ODI match = 50 overs.
    1 over = 6 ball
    Number of balls of ODI match = 50 × 6 = 300 ball.
  3. Test match played over = 5 days.
    1 day played = 90 overs
    Number of overs of test match = 90 × 5 = 450 overs
  4. There are two teams in Cricket. Each Team has 11 players.
    Total players in one cricket match = 11 + 11 = 22 players
  5. In the bowling team, 1 player is a bowler, 1 is the captain, and 1 is a wicketkeeper.
    Each Team has = 11 players
    Number of fielders = 11 – (1 bowler + 1 captain + 1 wicket-keeper)
    Number of fielders = 11 – 3 = 8 players
  6. One over = 6 ball =

  7. One ball = 6 runs
    Total runs in one over = 6 + 6 + 6 + 6 + 6 + 6
    Here, the number 6 is added 6 times. Do the multiplication.
    6 × 6 = 36 runs
    A player did score 36 runs in one over.

Following are the scores of each Team. Answer the following questions.

    Each team gets number balls = 10 × 6 = 60 balls
    Each Team gets 60 balls in this match.
  2. Team A scored 78 runs and Team B scored 90 runs.
    90 is the biggest number. So, Team B scored more runs.
    Team B won the match.
  3. In each team = 11 players. Two players play on the field.
    11 – 2 = 9 players
    9 players of Team A were sitting outside the field at the time of Team A batting.
  4. Team A is bowling = 11 players on the field
    Team B is batting = 2 players on the field
    Total players on the field = 11 + 2 = 13 players
  5. Kisan does bowling for 4 overs.
    1 over = 6 balls
    Kisan does bowling for = 4 × 6 = 24 balls
    Kisan does bowling for 24 balls.
  6. Virat hits 2 fours = 2 × 4 = 8 runs
    Virat hits 2 six = 2 × 6 = 12 runs
    And Virat gets 3 runs in an over.
    Total runs score Virat in an over = 8 + 12 + 3 = 23 runs
  7. Number of runs scored by Sujay = 12 runs
    Number of runs scored by Suresh = 55 runs
    Number of runs scored by Mit = 5 runs
    Total runs did they score for team A = 12 + 55 + 5 = 72 runs
    Out of 12, 55 and 5 = 55 is the biggest number
    Suresh scored more runs.
