Months of the Year

Class 1Time (Grade 1)

A year has 12 months. Each month has a name and a fixed number of days. In Class 1, children learn the names of all 12 months in order and the number of days in each month.

Knowing the months helps us understand birthdays, festivals, seasons, and the calendar.

Every month has special events. January brings Republic Day (26th January). August has Independence Day (15th August). Your birthday also falls in one of these 12 months!

Some months are hot, some are cold, and some are rainy. Learning months helps children read a calendar, plan for holidays, and understand the passing of time.

What is Months of the Year - Class 1 Maths (Time (Grade 1))?

A month is a period of about 30 or 31 days. Together, 12 months make one year.
