Time Duration (Grade 2)
Time duration means how long something takes — from the time it starts to the time it ends. If a cartoon starts at 5:00 and ends at 5:30, it lasts for 30 minutes. That 30 minutes is the duration.
In Class 2, we learn to find how long an activity takes by counting the hours and minutes between the start time and end time.

Duration is the amount of time that passes between a start time and an end time.
Duration = End time − Start time
We measure duration in hours and minutes.
- 1 hour = 60 minutes
- Half an hour = 30 minutes
