I. How to Write a Visit to a Park Paragraph for Class 3?

A park is an open area with trees, few rides or no rides, benches, plants, and flowers. Some parks are meant particularly for children. It will have swings like a merry-go-round, slides, and a see-saw, which are placed where children can play together.

 

a. Describe a Park: Name its Location

Write about a park that you often visit, its location, and its name.

b. Why Do You Like to go to the Park?

Mention the reason why you visit the park. Write about why you like to go there and how often you go there.

c. Friends You Made at Park and the Games You Play with Them

A park is a place for both kids and adults to play and relax. I go with my mother twice a week during weekends to a beautiful park which is within walking distance from my home. It is called the Triangular Park at New Alipore, Kolkata. It is a big beautiful park that has trees, plants, flowers, a play area, a walking path see-saw, a slide, swings, benches, etc.

Initially, when I started going there, I would play all by myself. After a few visits, I made two friends there, Ganesh and Hiya. Ganesh studies in class IV in a different school. Hiya is in class III, in a different school. Their mothers do come.

We take turns enjoying the rides. We also played with a ball. Then we raced with each other and played merry-go-round, hide and seek while our mothers would chat amongst themselves. Sometimes few vendors sell ice- creams or other snacks like chips and popcorn.

The park has a big dustbin in the shape of a kangaroo. We are not allowed to litter the park. We are not supposed to pluck the flowers too. There is a big board in the park with these instructions on it.

I do see some people walking very fast along the walking track. Sometimes I see some of them exercising. I look forward to visiting the park every weekend as I get to play with my friends in a beautiful green park. We usually spend two hours in the park. I love the popcorn sold there; it is yummy.
